The Intersection of Regulatory &
Reimbursement Strategies

Tuesday March 12,  12 – 1:30 pm

There are efficiencies that can be gained by looking for the intersections of data required by different stakeholders. Can we plan our regulatory strategy, submissions and studies such that we can address the needs of FDA and CMS at the same time?  Join  Jeff Shapiro and David Farber from King & Spalding Law to explore the questions that FDA and CMS (and other payers) share in common and how we can save cost and time by developing a strategy to address them both up front.  Jeff and David  will provide an overview of issues to consider in product development and clinical testing.  Jeff and David are both proponents of unified FDA regulatory and CMS strategies

Extemporaneous Speaking

Greg Bakan, Director of Strategic Initiatives

Tuesday, April 9, 12 – 1:30 pm

It’s one thing to speak effectively when giving a prepared talk. It’s quite another to think on your feet and craft articulate responses spontaneously – in the Q&A that follows a presentation, in a group setting, or in other circumstances. The ability to speak extemporaneously requires its own approach and skillset.

Greg Bakan, Director of Strategic Initiatives at Fogarty Innovation, will share his own experience and research into this subject with the goal of helping us hone this important skill.

Dan Jonas specializes in litigation, investigations and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance in the life sciences sector. Don’t miss this chance to learn and keep your company on the right track.

Mr. Jonas holds an A.B. in Classics (Latin) from Brown University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
