Matt has spent more than 20 years inside medical device hiring decisions — many of them at companies that were pre-revenue, cash-tight, and one milestone away from a raise or a wind-down. He’ll walk through the sequencing that actually works: which role to fill first and which to defer, when a fractional hire or consultant beats a full-time one, and how to structure compensation, benefits, and equity so your offer competes without money you don’t have. He’ll also argue that your best early hires often won’t have the obvious résumé — and show you how to recognize them anyway.

Women’s Health & Wellness Fair

El Camino Health

Saturday, September 19, 9:00 am – 1:30 pm

Join us at El Camino Health (ECH) for a day of learning, connection, and wellness. The health fair is a free event that will include a chance to speak with doctors across a range of women’s health specialties and explore ECH’s health resources, followed by educational sessions. The health fair will be held from 9–11 a.m. for in-person guests only, and the main program presentations will run from 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m. for both in-person and online guests. A healthy brunch will be provided.
